Description
This Advisory Note presents recommendations for deciding when to use the standard formulation for the density of liquid water recommended for metrology by the International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM) or the thermodynamic property formulation for general and scientific use adopted by the International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS).
The development of these recommendations is described in detail in a scientific article.
